The young man, the protagonist in the story, reached the pinnacle of his career when he grew up. He even received the second-highest title and honorific in the country for a civilian, bestowed by the King, for rendering distingushed service to the nation. But his journey to the top was fraught with challenges and complexities. This story is a retelling, loving ode to him from his daughter, capturing one of the pivotal phases of his early life when he took off on his bicycle as a teenager, and set off alone across the Peninsula, on an adventure of a lifetime.

The main narrative is presented within the context of an elderly man, recounting his life’s adventures cycling through the Peninsula as flashbacks to various people. Audiences see the world through the man’s eyes and the many vignettes of his younger life—a coming-of-age story about an unplanned journey to self-discovery.
